Karen Kelleher

oil paintings

Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, Karen was fortunate enough to have  had the inspiration of her creative family. Her mom was a painter and other family members were sculptors, painters and musicians.

Although the interest was there, corporate America, followed by her own Specialty Advertising Company, lured her away from  any artistic pursuits.

In 2005, she began her studies in drawing and oil painting at the MFA in Boston, followed by extensive studies with notable artists such as realist painter Tom Ouellette, Sam Vokey, Don Demers, Joseph McGurl, David Curtis, Rosalie Nadeau, and Stuart Dunkel, to name a few.

Her paintings can be viewed in her studio at 450 Harrison Ave., suite # 226 in Boston’s South End. Call for an appointment and for scheduled open studio dates and times.
